Directions for saving a personal copy of America:

If you've already sat through one long download, there is no sense in making you sit through another one when you already have the entire file on your hard drive...

This is how you find the movie: Depending on whether you use IE or Netscape (or if another browser, look for the "cache" or "temp files" folders) In Windows Explorer, browse to:

Program Files/Netscape/User/Name/Cache
or
Windows/Temporary Internet Files/Content IE5 (or whatever)

or for Windows NT or XP

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Look for a file with the extension .SWF that is Flash Player Type ~ you will know when you went to the page, so you can use the date to find it.

Right click on it, copy it, place it in another folder such as My Documents, right click again and choose rename~ you can call it whatever you like~ then, provided you have the Flash Player installed on your pc, click on the .swf file or right click and choose "open" and the movie will play. At that point, from the top menu, click the "file" button and choose "Create Projector" and it will make a self-loading .exe file that will run as an independant movie, the same as the one on the CD, that screensavers can be made from.

If you do not have the Flash player, download it from one of these links: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/download/(choose Flash Player) http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/alternates/
